It's been a long time coming for the burgundy and gold but we did it tonight against the Dallas Cowboys -- HTTR and RGIII!!!!!!!!!!!
On other notes, we celebrated a good Christmas after a hard fall for us, it is my hope to keep you updated more often in the upcoming year, it seems every year I post this as my goal, but I am determined this upcoming year to make it stick.
I often wonder does it feel like this for most people, starting a task and finding yourself
hours later wondering how did I get here? Not speaking of driving or anything like that but just for example will sign on to check email -- should take 10 mins, but I get so distracted by all the small details and sidebars that don't really matter I could be there for 10 hrs, the same with facebook, pinterest etc -- even when I am scrapping, getting too caught up in the what should I use, what will others perceive, will this go with all the rest -- Does that really matter in the long run, as long as memories are preserved and shared with others. Don't even think about sending me into the grocery store or the library for just 1 item, it is physically impoossible for me to do so, the sight of something triggers a thought or memory and I could be hours when all I needed might have been cough drops or to return a book. When I started this post there was so much more focus on what I wanted to say in my head and then I started to type and the words escape me, next time I will write down my thouhts first to give them more clarity.
Can you tell I have been away for over a year, it was just a year of many things that we had to work on personally in our family that I am sure I will talk about in the future, but just wanted to say I am working on getting this up and running again. Will be back soon.
It was a good weekend---
Friday was the last day of school before spring break -- Jaden had an diorama due at school on habitat -- he choose to make one of the ocean, here is what his finished project looked like.
It was crazy hair day at Gavin's school and this is how he want to school -- he had just recently cut his hair, so there was not alot we could do to his actual hair, so we grabbed a fun extension pony tail that his sister has bought and managed to keep it on his hair with barrettes and bobby pins, I also spiked it with get and sprayed it with multi glitter hairspray.
We played a great game of pictionary for the Wii as a family on Friday night, boy do we get some funny drawings with that game. Saturday me and Alexa went to an all-day scrapbooking crop-- it was alot of fun, but what a bad weather day --- lots of rain -- driving home there was so much water on the road and it looked like there were waterfalls coming down the side of the mountain thru Harpers Ferry. Alexa worked on her Christmas 2010 Album and I am working on scrapping our 2008 Ireland vacation. --so far I am only mid way thru day 3 of a 12 day trip. Sunday was a trip to the library and get some laundry done day. Hope everyone had a great weekend:)
